This example is 3m long; made from a very special Elm board, unusually grown in the south of the UK.
We take a great deal of time buildling relationships with timber yards across the UK and sourcing special boards like this is one of our favourite parts of the process.
We mill brass in-house to create these brass bow-ties that gleam when they catch the light. Delicate timber ‘stitches’ and patches stabilize splits and knots in the board.
Each unit is unique, responding to the timber’s natural character.
