On PROCESS

Process and materials are the core our practice. It’s often in the journey that many monents of beauty can be found before the resolution of a piece. Our making processes are filled with moments of serendipity, where unexpected textures and forms emerge. It’s in these fleeting instances that we find the essence of our work—where raw materials reveal their character and invite new interpretations. By embracing the imperfections and the subtleties encountered along the way, we celebrate these nuances.

We first met while studying at the Slade School of Fine Art, where we developed our approach to materials. In both our individual and joint practices, we contrast the precise control offered by digital methods with the organic qualities of natural materials and the heritage of traditional craftmanship.
