Frame made from London Plane and seat of hand woven Danish paper cord.

We wanted to make a chair that celebrates the localy sourced timber that we use. We designed a piece that is made with wide thin components to ensure as much of the grain is on show as possible. This decision informed very particular joinery; bold dovetails and through tenons ensure that the chair is incredibly strong. Despite these classical moments this chair has striking clean lines and a fresh angular aesthetic.
