TIMBER SOURCING
Fallen & Felled
We get most of our timber from Fallen & Felled, a timber yard dedicated to saving trees from the incinerator. They have conections with London councils and rescue trees that are felled in the city. As this timber is not grown commercially, you can find unusual species such as Plum and Pear trees and the boards have lots of irregularities and character. We love working with timber like this.
We make regular trips to their yard, to hand-select timber for our projects. This is an important part of our practice.
