From our South London workshop, we explore the relationship between material and process across furniture, art, and bespoke fabrication. All the timber we use is UK grown and sourced from independent yards, often working with reclaimed and locally salvaged trees. By selecting timber that isn’t grown commerically, we’re able to work with especially unique boards. Our designs highlight the intrinsic beauty of these timbers, embracing their natural features - knots, splits, and irregularities included. Our designs preserve traces of our processes and the organic character of our materials. Working with hardwood is such a joy as each board is unique, making each iteration of a piece different. One of our favourite moments is putting a rough-sawn board through the planer and revealing the grain for the first time.
